Tamara Préaud, former archivist of the Sèvres Manufactory for over 40 years, is a specialist on French porcelain and has published widely on the subject. Her works include La porcelaine de Vincennes (1991) The Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory: Alexandre Brongniart and the triumph of art and industry, 1800–1847 (1997) and La Manufacture des Lumières : la sculpture à Sèvres de Louis XV à la Révolution (2015).
