This November, the BGC Library is showcasing books relating to Bard Graduate Center’s research theme “What is Distance?”
We have chosen titles that represent the many ways ideas and information can be charted, measured and displayed. Our selections relate to cartography and mapping, discovery and connections, whether in literal distance, like Vignelli Transit Maps or the distance between ideas and mapping data in books like Visual Complexity: Mapping Patterns of Information.
We hope you enjoy our selection, which delves into topics such as navigation and travel, time, data and informational space.
