Artist and educator Jeff Hopkins invites families to participate in an interactive storytelling workshop. Inspired by the life and work of John Lockwood Kipling, a drawing of an elephant jumps out of a manuscript and lands in an art gallery! The exciting journey of this elephant comes to life as Hopkins creates wall-sized drawings while acting out characters with the audience. Following the performance, Hopkins will facilitate a storyboard workshop inviting families to imagine their own illustrated stories inspired by works on view in the gallery. Join us for storytelling, gallery explorations, and a hands-on workshop designed to foster creative exchange. Family tour will meet at 12 pm on the first floor of the gallery.
