Miwako Tezuka and Inhee Iris Moon examine the development and career of the
artist Nam June Paik. Born in Seoul, and raised in South Korea, Paik was first
trained as a classical pianist before studying in Hong Kong and Japan, and then
living in Germany and the United States. Tezuka and Moon help place the
exhibition Revisions—Zen for Film in the context of Paik’s life and
international environment.
Inhee Iris Moon is the director and curator of Free Art Zone
International, Inc.
Miwako Tezuka is Co-director of PoNJA-GenKon. She was formerly Associate
Curator of Contemporary Art at New York’s Asia Society Museum and Gallery
Director of Japan Society.
