Hanna Hölling and Michelle Yun share their experiences, discoveries, and insights into the process of curating exhibitions on works by artist Nam June Paik. By tracing the Paik’s interests as it expanded from experimental music to ambitious media installations, we learn of his influence on video art and how this form emerged to greatly impact the world of contemporary art.

Hanna Hölling is the curator of the current exhibition on view Revisions: Zen for Film. She was formerly the Andrew W. Mellon Visiting Professor, Cultures of Conservation Bard Graduate Center

Michelle Yun is the curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Asia Society Museum. She was the organizing curator of the 2014 exhibition Nam June Paik: Becoming Robot held at the Asia Society
