This concert celebrates seven decades of beloved and lesser-known American songs about the Christmas season. Robert Osborne and Rick Gordon are joined by Katie Geissinger for a selection of festive songs by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and Frank Loesser, along with rare gems by John Jacob Niles and Victor Herbert.

Katie Geissinger, mezzo-soprano, has performed music ranging from plainchant to experimental premieres nationally and internationally. She is a member of the Meredith Monk Ensemble.
Richard Gordon, pianist, has performed with opera companies in Washington, DC, St. Louis, Missouri, and Chautauqua, New York.
Robert Osborne, bass-baritone, has sung man roles in operas ranging from Bernstein to Weill. He is on the faculties of Barnard College and Vassar College.
