Educators! Come to an invigorating day of conversation, object exploration, and making centered around BGC Gallery’s fall exhibition, French Fashion, Women, and the First World War. Enjoy a morning exhibition tour and complimentary lunch with colleagues in our intimate townhouse. During the afternoon, participate in a hands-on workshop that delves into gender, suffrage, and women’s rights. Explore how object-based learning can engage students to think critically, and expand your toolkit through an art-making activity designed to help students build and express personal connections to important issues. Conclude the day with colleagues at our wine reception. Educators of all disciplines and grade levels welcome!
Advance registration is recommended as seating is limited.
Lunch will be provided by Bard Graduate Center.
