The BGC Department of Research Collections comprises the Library, Study Collection, and Archive, representing a comprehensive range of diverse research resources across a range of media in support of the advanced scholarly study of material culture. Bringing these three entities together aligns the institution’s collection with its approach to research, which challenges traditional boundaries, centers the object, and emphasizes interdisciplinarity. The exhibition case on the 2nd floor is currently displaying materials from our archives that commemorate Bard Graduate Center’s 25th anniversary. This selection comes from the BGC Ephemera Collection of print material related to our Academic Programs, Exhibitions, Public Programs, and more. We hope you enjoy these selections, which represent just a glimpse of the first quarter century of Bard Graduate Center’s endeavors.
