Bard Graduate Center has welcomed a number of new faculty members, fellows, students, and staff in the past few months.
Mei Mei Rado joins the BGC faculty this January, taking over as textiles and dress historian from Michele Majer, who retired from her faculty position this summer but has continued her affiliation with BGC as co-curator of Threads of Power: Lace from the Textilmuseum St. Gallen.
New fellows in residence at BGC this fall include Isabelle Marina Held and Charisse Pearlina Weston.
BGC is pleased to welcome 17 MA and three PhD students this fall.
We sadly bade farewell to Jen Ha (coordinator of academic and research events), Earl Martin (associate curator), and Chantal Sulkow (acquisitions librarian), and welcomed Julie Fuller (digital humanities educational technologist), Jacklyn Chang (graphic design fellow), Mike Satalof (archivist and digital preservation specialist), and Abigail Walker (acquisitions and serials librarian).
