The redesigned website of the Bard Graduate Center, www.bgc.bard.edu, debuted September 16. In conjunction with the expansion of its academic facilities the new BGC website reflects the position of the institution’s role as a leading graduate research institution for the study of the decorative arts, design history, and material culture and will feature expanded content, including research and exhibition videos. The redesign incorporates bold graphics and the newest navigational tools that will seamlessly meld its degree programs, academic research initiatives, gallery exhibitions and related educational public programs, along with fundraising and alumni resources and information for the press.

“Our new website perfectly represents the institution’s commitment to rigor and creativity, to careful research and imaginative questions,” says Peter N. Miller, Dean and Chair of Academic Programs. “It is designed to grow with us and serve as the platform for presenting the different kinds of work we do here— in class, in the digital media lab, in our publications, and in our gallery.”
